Thomas
G. Walsh, Esq.
Tom has
a BS in Agricultural Engineering/Environmental Technology from Cornell
University (1986) and a JD (Cum Laude) and Masters in Environmental Law
and Policy (Cum Laude) from Vermont Law School (1993). Prior to law
school, from 1986 to 1989, Tom practiced with a national environmental
consulting and engineering firm where he worked on environmental
systems designs and completed domestic and international environmental
risk assessments. After law school, from 1993 to 1999, Tom was in
private practice focusing on environmental and land use permitting,
litigation and counseling in Vermont, New York, New Hampshire and
Maryland.
Tom represented the
Vermont Environmental and Natural
Resources Boards from 1999 through 2005, first as staff counsel
representing the Boards as the state land use appellate Board and then
from 2001 to 2005 as the State’s enforcement attorney for Act 250.
