| Governmental The firm provides a full range of legal services to municipalities, including cities, towns, villages and other quasi-governmental entities. We have significant experience in providing skilled and cost-effective counsel in the issues typically faced by these entities, including labor relations and personnel matters, highway issues, planning and zoning matters, elections issues and real property taxation. We represent municipalities and other clients in utility proceedings before the Vermont Public Service Board. We also provide our municipal clients counsel in real estate transactions, including the preparation of documents and counsel to municipal boards planning and preparing for such transactions. Finally, we serve as defense counsel to municipalities faced with claims for civil rights violations, employment disputes, and claims for negligence. |
